Workplace Safety Audits

Employers need to first establish and implement a health and safety program. Audits serve two primary purposes. They determine what is working and what is not. This is a critical component of an effective safety management system (OHSMS). Auditing ensures continual compliance.

Training & Education

Management, supervisors and workers need to be trained in OHSMS topics. We customize training for clients to provide them with the knowledge to create and maintain safety compliance. Working at Heights (WAH), First Aid, CPR, WHMIS and Supervisory Competence are just a few of the critical programs we customize for clients.

Policy / Procedures Development

Very few organizations take the time and trouble to create accurate policies. It is the reason we have full-time experts in research, development and design on staff. We design for your specific needs and jurisdiction. Every policy and procedure document is developed, written & updated as required

Compliance Analytics

We use a variety of systems including modern analytics to identify needs and build your compliance infrastructure around that information. The key is educating the right people, in the right topics, at the right time so that our clients benefit from well trained workers and management. If you want to prevent accidents, we know exactly how to assist you in those efforts.

Emergency Response

The actions taken in the aftermath of an emergency are critical. We are experts in emergency response, not by choice but because people turn to experts when they need help. Our emergency preparedness program ensures delays are minimized and your people know how to respond. Chaos is not part of the process. Our reputation is to deal with these situations with calm expertise.

Investigations / Legal

Workplace investigations can be a tangled mess of trouble when they are conducted by people who lack the knowledge and expertise to gather all pertinent facts and information. Many reports are simply done improperly. If you don’t want to place your firm, brand or reputation at risk, turn to us. It is always worth your time to talk to us. We know the rules. We have the network to get it done right.

COR™ Services

What is COR?

The Certificate of Recognition (COR) program in Ontario is a provincial standard that measures the performance of employers against leading industry health & safety standards. The COR certification process is facilitated through the Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) who provide training and auditing services and also validate the certification. COR certification acknowledges employers who can demonstrate excellence in Health & Safety Management.

Criteria for COR?

COR certification involves several steps starting from basic COR element training to instruct participants on the 19 elements required for a successful Health & Safety Management System. Employers interested in COR must satisfy these program elements in order to achieve COR status.

How can we assist?

Our skilled and knowledgeable staff can assist your company in designing and implementing a Health & Safety Management System that will not only help achieve legal compliance, but can also assist in obtaining certifications such as COR. Please contact our office for more information on how we can assist.
